Social Distancing Blues
03:02

Stand six feet to the left
Or six feet to the right
Ya gotta go way over there
Lock the doors, shut the lights
I’ve got the social distance, the social distancing blues
(Yes I do)
You better do what you’re told
Don’t go on a cruise
Can’t give no one a hug
Can’t hold my baby tight
You got to wear a hazmat suit to get into a fight
I’ve got the social distance, the social distancing blues
(Yes I do)
You better do what you’re told
Don’t share your kazoos
(SOLO)
Wash your hands for 20 seconds
Dont go out to any shows If you think you came in contact, you best not pick your nose
I’ve got the social distance, the social distancing blues
(Yes I do)
You better do what you’re told
Don’t listen to too much news
Can’t get no toilet paper
I can’t get no bidet
I tried to order one online, but their sold out til May!
I’ve got the social distance, the social distancing blues
(Yes I do)
You better do what you’re told
Try to lay off that booze (I know it’s hard)
I’ve got the social distance, the social distancing blues
I’ve got the social distance, the social distancing blues
I’m gonna social distance-sing this song
And this will all blow over soon

I picked a bad time to quit drinking, what the hell was I thinking?
I picked a bad time to quit drinking, when the world has been postponed.
I picked a bad time to quit drinking, miss the sound of bottles clinking,
I fear my ships already sinking,
so I might as well get stoned.
This ol' town has been shut down and the streets are paved with fear
I haven't seen a soul for days
2020's been a messed up year
I picked a bad time to quit drinking, what the hell was I thinking?
I picked a bad time to quit drinking, when the world has been postponed.
I picked a bad time to quit drinking, miss the sound of bottles clinking,
I fear my ships already sinking,
And I’m stick right here at home
I ain't got a show to play,
and you just got laid off.
If only we could pay the bills with our free time and this cough
I picked a bad time to quit drinking, what the hell was I thinking?
I picked a bad time to quit drinking
So I might as well get stoned
But it ain’t all so bad
I should mention all the things I have
And the darkness that has left and gone away
Now when I wake up with no hangover, no regrets
I’m ready, I’m ready for whatever comes my way
I picked the right time to quit drinking
Now I know what I was thinking
I picked the right time to quit drinking
When the world has all gone mad
I picked the right time to quit drinking
My waistline started shrinking
My attitude stopped stinking
Being sober ain’t so bad!

No Time To Get Bored

No Time To Get Bored
I know the world’s gone crazy, and you don’t know what to do
But I am here to help, to help you make it through
You might not even know what day or week it is
But I am am used to that, because I work in show biz
You might be bored
Of keeping your hands clean
Well here are some suggestions,
Thanks to COVID-19
Oh, you can meditate or write some poetry
You can eat a snack whenever you’re hungry
You can talk to your plants
Try on all your pants
Write your will
And then learn calligraphy
You can practice yoga then go dye your hair
You can go outside and breathe in some fresh air
You can knit or crochet,
Maybe you’ll learn today
You can even organise your Tupperware
CHORUS
Because we’re quarantined
And there ain’t much that we can still afford
Oh yes we’re quarantined
But we don’t have to be bored!
You can read a book or sing a little song
Take a nap, and then learn to play mah-jong
You can paint, you can play
What have you done today?
If you’ve got roommates, I sure hope you get along
You can call your ex and tell them that you’re stable
Or memorise the periodic table
You can learn Taekwondo, you can Marie Kondo
You can watch Lifetime as long as you have cable
CHORUS
You can look at puppies on the internet
Or do or aerobics til you break a sweat
You can watch all of Star Wars
Clean all of your drawers
Learn the Hebrew alphabet
Study language, learn from Duolingo
You can organize a solo game of bingo
You can blog, play guitar, baby, you will go far!
You can decorate your yard with a flamingo
CHORUS
So don’t tell me that you’ve got nothing to do
If you still don’t, the problem might be you
So just get off of your ass
Wipe your face
Raise your glass
I promise that we’re gonna make it through
Make it through
Make it through!

Who’s that now coming up to the door?
delivering the goods
Who’s that now coming up to the door?
In every neighborhood
Without the trucks, America stops
thanks to the folks that bring us our stuff
without your help lockdown would be hell
thanks to the folks out there keeping us well
Who’s that stuck in the grocery store?
ringing up our bread
Who’s that stuck in the grocery store?
keeping us all fed
Without the food everyone’s doomed
thanks to the folks for staying in tune
without your help lockdown would be hell
thanks to the folks out there keeping us well
You are Essential
Essential
You Are Essential
We want to thank you
Thank you
We want to thank you
Who’s that walking the hospital ward?
out on the front lines
Who’s that walking the hospital ward?
risking their own lives
Without the docslife it could stop
nurses, technicians, responders and cops
without your help lockdown would be hell
thanks to the folks out there keeping us well
You are Essential
Essential
You Are Essential
We want to thank you
Thank you
We want to thank you
Thank you for keeping us well

Three months since time stood still
Three long months since time stood still
I haven’t seen my family
I haven’t seen my friends
I haven’t seen a sign that tells me this will end
I haven’t had your cooking
I haven’t seen you smile
I haven’t seen you Grandma,
And I may not for a while
When will I see my Grandma again?
When will I see my Grandma again?
Time has passed, and it’s gone with the wind
When will I see my Grandma again?
I think about being a child
Living in your house, you’d sing to me at night
Cook me breakfast every morning
Tuck me in when I was scared
All I really needed was knowing you were there
I haven’t heard your stories
I haven’t seen you smile
I haven’t seen my Grandma
And I may not for a while
When will I see my Grandma again?
When will I see my Grandma again?
Time has passed, and it’s gone with the wind
When will I see my Grandma again?
All I wan’t for you to see my new home
See what I’ve worked for and who I’ve become
Sleep in my guest room thought you’re not a guest
You are my Grandma, and you are the best
When will I see my Grandma again?
When will I see my Grandma again?
Time has passed, and it’s gone with the wind
I sure hope I’ll my Grandma again?

Go Big & Stay Home!
02:00
|
|||
Go Big and stay home, call your friends on the telephone
Go big and stay home, cause you know you’re not supposed to roam
These are trying times, you gotta go big and stay home
Do something you would never do
Learn something you always wanted to
You’re saving lives by staying in
Don’t make them ask you where you’ve been
Go Big and stay home, call your friends on the telephone
Go big and stay home, cause you know you’re not supposed to roam
These are trying times, you gotta go big and stay home
Take the time that you have
Use it well, don’t be mad
Now's the time, don’t delay
You’ll get to live another day
Go Big and stay home, call your friends on the telephone
Go big and stay home, cause you know you’re not supposed to roam
These are trying times, you gotta go big and stay home
Go Big (GO BIG)
Stay home (STAY HOME),
Go Big (GO BIG)
Stay home (STAY HOME),
Well these are trying times, you gotta go big and stay home
Go big & stay home
